The Godfather.....

A month ago, I'm finished watching the trilogy of The Godfather movie. I think, this is the one of the greatest movie that ever exist (hehehe). From this movie, I know about the life of the Mafia in America, this movie contains a more dramatic elements, but it also have action and sadistic elements (hihihihi). I remember from this movie, all the sons from Don or the Godfather must become a Don or The Godfather too one day after the father retired and this tradition must be keep until all the family finished. From that I know that from this movie, the mafia is using ad populum appeals to tradition, because in one scene, someone said,"you are son of the godfather, so you will become a godfather".

Come On Nis.....!!

Last Saturday, when I go to KL for weekend, I reached KL Central to get a LRT to go to KLCC. Me and my friend already bought a ticket from the machine. After we finished buy the ticket, my friend from Faculty of Multimedia, Nisa, want to take the picture for her assignment. We just waiting for her while we are waiting for the LRT to come. 5 minutes later, the LRT come and Nisa still taking the pictures of KL Central, and then Fina said to Nisa,"The LRT's coming..!!!!"

From that, I know that Fina is using implicit argument, with implicit premises the LRT won't wait for you Nisa and implicit conclusion Fina tried to persuade Nisa to stop taking picture so she can take the LRT.

Today, after I'm finished my class, I straightly go home, because I didn't have any class after 2.00PM. After I'm reach my apartment, my roomate, Pramantha directly come to me and offer me some food, it's called Risoles (food from Indonesia). He said that it's is imported directly from Indonesia, and this is the best and very delicious risoles that ever made. When I think about it, the reason why Pramantha said about that because he is the one that sell that risoles and he is the one that doing the Cyberpreneurship project.

From that I know that Pramantha is using ad hominem circumtantial fallacy.

Where's the best....

Last Sunday, Me and some of my friend's go to Alamanda to watch the movie. But, before we decided to go to Alamanda, some of my friend uncertain to go there. They afraid the sound system in that cinema not too good. They want to watch the movie in KL, which is on Pavilion. In Pavilion, the cinema's name is GSC (Golden Screen Cinema). But in Alamanda is GSC too. So I said to them,"GSC Pavilion is a great cinema and have a great sound system. GSC Alamanda is a great cinema so GSC Alamanda must have a great sound system too.

I'm using analogical argument to persuade my friend to watch the movie in GSC Alamanda.

Turkey.....

This trimester, I have taken Cyberpreneurship subject. This subject just have one project, which is doing some business. My group business is selling food (Indonesian food). Our group's name is Jaquisa. We sell food such as Lumpia, Pempek, Pop Ice and many more. First food that we sell is Lumpia (already sold out,hehehe). One of our customer is Ebong, we delivered our Lumpia to her. When I and Ramaditya (group member too) arrived at Ebong's apartment, Ebong directly try to taste our Lumpia, while Ebong tasted our Lumpia, I took her picture for appendix in our presentation and reports. When I and Ramaditya look at the Ebong's picture, I straightly said,"your face is like a turkey", hehehe, and we all laughing.

I'm using simile to compare ebong faces with turkey.

You're Beautiful..........!!!!!!

This afternoon, when I have nothing to do, I'm listening the music from my laptop, and I found James Blunt's album, I'm listening to his song, which is You're beautiful and 1973. I like his song since I was in High School. In that mean time, I open Google and I search about him, and his background is nothing to do with music. He is a former soldier and he stop soldier career and try to do his own dream as a musician. From that thing, I know that James Blunt is very creative people. He is daring to a thing's that he never done and try to prove to the world that he can be a good singer and he is a hard worker too, so now, he is one of a well-known singer and his song is spreading all over the world. Everyone would never think that he was a soldier before.

Class..............!!!

Last Thursday, I have a Mathematics tutorial class. Everytime we attend the class, we must bring tutorial question to the class, and at least must try the question at home. I'm lucky that day I bring the tutorial question. But my classmate from Saudi Arabia didn't bring the tutorial question, and almost every week he always forgot to bring the question. The lecture is already know that he didn't bring the question, the lecture has remind him every week, he never listen, so the lecture said in the high tone of voice, "Don't you think maybe you should bring you're tutorial question?", and my classmate make a promise to the lecture to bring the tutorial next week.

So, from that question, I know that the lecture is using rhetorical question to persue my classmate to bring the tutorial question.

Merdeka Countdown.....

Two days ago, when I go to KL, they are a traffic jam everywhere, I don't what's happening, but everyone wants to go to Bukit Bintang. I know that Bukit Bintang is shopping center and very strategic places for tourist. But, that day, the crowd is unusual, because it is too crowd and full of people. When I reach Bukit Bintang, to go to Pavilion, I saw a lot of people gathering from all over places, I said to my friend, "It' is like sea of people in here". I said that because it's really a lot of people that come to that places. One of my friend that come with me is a Malaysian, and he said that the next day will be Malaysia Independence day, so everyone gather from all over places to celebrate the Independence day countdown at the night.

I'm using methapors to describe how much the people that come to Bukit Bintang that day.

Futsal........

Two days ago, when I want to go to Kuala Lumpur to spent my weekend, I invite all my housemate, but only two persons that can go with me to KL, when I asked another housemate, they say they want to go to Sunway to attend Sunway Cup. They will play Futsal. They said, "We are the best, so we will win all the match and bring the trophy of Sunway Cup". Me and my friend just support them, and hope they will win all the match and take the trophy.

From what they said, I know they are using implicit argument, so "We are best" is the first premises, but they are also give Vague argument, because 'best' that they talking about is vague and what kind of best that they talking about.
